The new academic year is fast approaching. Soon we will welcome our new Erasmus+ students. They will come from Algeria, Italy, Spain, Turkiye, Portugal, Taiwan, and Kazakhstan.
It’s become our practice to pair international students with UKW students with the aim of intercultural and language exchange. Each Erasmus+ student gains a new Polish friend, who is supposed to help them with challenges they encounter during their stay in Bydgoszcz.
Since every new beginning is a challenge we help our new students feel at home at UKW and in Bydgoszcz by inviting them to the welcome week program.
During the week full of events, we organize many activities to help incoming students become acquainted with the university and learn more about Polish culture, language, and cuisine. Erasmus students will participate in info sessions, presentations, guided tours, trips, workshops, and parties.
This upcoming semester welcome week starts on Tuesday 1st October and last until Friday, 4th October 2024.
We will start with the welcome meeting on Tuesday at 11:00 in the University Library on Szymanowskiego 3 Street. This meeting and the whole welcome week will be a great opportunity to meet fellow international students and find answers to all the bothering questions.
Happy winter semester to everybody!
