The International Relations Office at Kazimierz Wielki University in Bydgoszcz invites all Erasmus+ incoming students to join a creative challenge:
Become a Masterpiece.
Bydgoszcz is full of art — but this time, you are the art.
Bydgoszcz is a city defined by its public art, from the iconic Man Crossing the River to the sculptures tucked away in our parks. We invite you to step beyond the role of a spectator and become part of the city's artistic landscape. This is your opportunity to explore the city, express your creativity, and see Bydgoszcz from a completely new perspective.
What’s the idea?
Find an existing sculpture in Bydgoszcz.
Look at it. Observe the details. Feel its character.
And then — recreate it.
Your task is to interact with the sculpture: copy its pose, reflect its emotion, or creatively reinterpret it — but the sculpture must be clearly visible and become an essential part of your photo.
Take a picture of your “living sculpture” moment and show us how you bring art to life.
No professional camera needed — your phone is enough.
What matters is your idea.
How to participate?
- take one photo following the theme
- add a title and short description of your idea
- submit your entry from April 24 by May 24, 2026 (23:59) via submission form
Prizes
- 1st place: Gift voucher to a local café + official UKW hoodie and polo shirt
- 2nd & 3rd place: Official UKW hoodie and polo shirt
Winners will be selected based on creativity, composition, and resemblance to the chosen sculpture.
Results will be announced the following week.
