Dear Erasmus+ Students,
Your arrival in Bydgoszcz is just around the corner, and we are very happy to welcome you to Kazimierz Wielki University for the winter semester 2026/2027.
This semester, 92 Erasmus+ students will join UKW from partner universities in 11 countries: Türkiye, Spain, Italy, Bulgaria, Greece, France, Portugal, Jordan, Taiwan, Serbia and Colombia.
We know that the first days in a new country can be exciting, busy and sometimes a little overwhelming. That is why we have prepared Welcome Week Erasmus+ 2026 – to help you settle in, meet other students and start discovering UKW and Bydgoszcz.
Welcome Week will take place from 5 to 9 October 2026.
During the week, you can expect an information meeting, integration activities, a guided tour of Bydgoszcz, an urban game, workshops and plenty of opportunities to meet your fellow Erasmus+ students.
Your Buddy-Mentors – UKW students who volunteered to support our international students – will also be there to help you during your first days, find your way around the university and the city, and make your start in Bydgoszcz a little easier.
Before you arrive, remember to check your UKW university email and our official Erasmus+ communication channels regularly, as this is where we will share important information and updates.
Most importantly: safe travels and see you very soon!
We hope Bydgoszcz will quickly start to feel like your second home and that the months ahead will bring you new friendships, experiences, discoveries and memories to take home with you.
We are waiting for you!
Welcome to UKW. Welcome to Bydgoszcz!
