Important information for the 2026/27 academic year

Unfortunately, due to renovation work, UKW will not be able to offer accommodation to international students in its Student House during the 2026/27 academic year.

This means that incoming students must arrange accommodation independently before arriving in Bydgoszcz. Completing the university application or being accepted for studies does not include a room reservation.

Students should begin searching as early as possible, particularly if they plan to arrive shortly before the beginning of the semester. UKW does not currently provide a waiting list or guarantee that rooms will become available during the academic year.

Information about accommodation in future academic years will be published on the official UKW website once the Student House becomes available again.

Private accommodation

The following websites may be helpful when searching for a room, studio or shared flat:

  • M4Student – private student accommodation;
  • OLX – rooms and flats offered by private landlords;
  • Rentola – rental listings in Bydgoszcz;
  • Otodom - rooms and flats offered by private landlords;

These are independent providers and listing platforms. UKW does not manage the advertised accommodation and cannot guarantee its availability, price or standard.

Before accepting an offer, check:

  • the exact address and public transport connections;
  • the total monthly cost, including utilities and administrative fees;
  • the amount and conditions for returning the deposit;
  • the duration of the rental agreement and its termination rules;
  • whether the room is furnished and whether internet access is included.

Do not transfer money before verifying the landlord or accommodation provider and receiving a written rental agreement.
